Public relations professionals, I believe, should had have this voluntary oath to serve to the public only genuine information. Although, it is their job to relay information, it should be in their conscience to choose only those that are true and those which will do good for the public. Auto industry should have, likewise, been long responsible for the consequences of their acts.If they can spend whopping amounts to conceptualize a fast and beautiful car, then should also be ready to spend even just a little to make even the replacement auto parts safe and earth-friendly.

Definitely not a good deal for California.

Seems this is a step back for the state of Ca.

About the climate cover-up

About the climate cover-up

Democracy is utterly dependent upon an electorate that is accurately informed. In promoting climate change denial (and often denying their responsibility for doing so) industry has done more than endanger the environment. It has undermined democracy.

There is a vast difference between putting forth a point of view, honestly held, and intentionally sowing the seeds of confusion. Free speech does not include the right to deceive. Deception is not a point of view. And the right to disagree does not include a right to intentionally subvert the public awareness.
